Welcome to Southwest Missouri, where the Prairie Plains meet the Ozark Mountains.  Barton County Electric Cooperative, Inc. has been a part of this beautiful area since 1937.  We are bordered by prairie plains to the west and beautiful lakes to the east.  We boast of our many parks and recreation areas.  The surrounding communities and all areas around and in between host many sites worth visiting.
